Italian Language Courses International (ILC London) offers levels from complete beginners to advanced, following the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). If you have never studied Italian, choose the A1.1 Complete Beginners course. If you have some prior knowledge, email us at courses@icilondon.uk and we will help you identify the right level. Available levels for the Summer 2026 programme are: A1.1, Elementary (A1.2–A2), Intermediate (B1.1–B2), and Advanced (C1.1–C2).

The A1.1 Complete Beginners course at ILC London is a 10-week intensive programme running from 8 July to 9 September 2026, with 3-hour sessions every Wednesday (£380). All other levels — Elementary, Intermediate, and Advanced — run for –5 weeks from 6 July to early August 2026, with 2-hour weekly sessions priced at £150, those are macrolevel A,B and C and are intended mainly for conversation.

All classes at Italian Language Courses International are live and interactive, delivered via video with a native-speaking teacher. They are not pre-recorded. You attend at your chosen day and time, and participate in real time with your group.

Yes. At ILC London, all courses are conducted entirely in Italian from the very first lesson — including the A1.1 Complete Beginners course. This full-immersion approach covers listening, speaking, reading, and writing in every session.

Classes at ILC London are kept intentionally small to ensure every student participates actively in every session. We have a maximum number of 10 and minimum of 6 for the online classes.

All courses are taught by native Italian speakers with university-level qualifications in language teaching. ILC London does not use non-native or unqualified teachers.

You just let the teacher know and they will help you to catch up sending you some material.

Usually lessons are held via Zoom.

The A1.1 Complete Beginners course costs £380 for 10 weeks. All other levels — Elementary, Intermediate, and Advanced — cost £150 for approximately 4–5 weeks. A £10 discount applies for payments made by bank transfer, and a £10 concession is available for senior citizens aged 65 and over. All prices include VAT.

Yes. Italian Language Courses International offers a £10 concession for students aged 65 and over, on presentation of valid documentation. A separate £10 discount also applies when paying by bank transfer. Both discounts can be combined.
